@machineguntongue These sunglasses have minimal lens curve and typically rest flat without a gap under the eyes. However, sunglasses fit everyone differently so it really depends on your face. If you refer to the video you can see they rest along the cheekbone.

Do they (the XL) sit close to the face, under the eyes?

I like larger frames but minimal to no gapping under the eyes.
